El litoral de la provincia de Murcia forma parte de la Costa Cálida, que tiene una longitud de unos 165 kilómetros y un promedio de 315 días de sol (2.800 horas de sol!) por año. La Costa Cálida ofrece dos mares diferentes, a saber el Mar Menor y el Mediterráneo. El Mar Menor (traducción: "pequeño mar") es la mayor reserva natural en el mundo en el que muchos tipos de deportes náuticos son posibles.

Por otro lado el Mediterráneo dispone de agua limpia, muchas largas playas de arena y pequeñas calas. Además, es uno de los lugares de buceo más bellos de España.
Sin embargo, la Costa Cálida ofrece más de solo sol, mar y playa. Mucha gente ama las distintas ciudades interesantes, la cultura, los mercados locales y la cocina española.

The coastline of the province Murcia is part of the Costa Cálida which has a length of about 165 miles and an average of 315 sunny days (2.800 sun hours!) per year. This Costa Cálida offers two different seas namely the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean. The Mar Menor (translation: “small sea”) is the largest natural pool in the world where many kinds of water sports are possible.

On the other hand the Mediterranean offers clear water, many long sandy beaches and small bays. Further it is one of the most beautiful diving locations of Spain.
However the Costa Cálida offers more than alone sun, sea and beach. Many people love the various interesting cities, culture, the local markets and the Spanish kitchen.
